Community Support Projects - Kenya
Emergency Aid- Covid 19
Bubbles and Stars have supported various food relief projects in Kenya during 2020 that were set up as a response to the Global Pandemic.
We have provided much needed funds for projects in:
Nairobi and in Northern Kenya
Wellbeing
Bubbles and Stars have provided funds to support the PadMad project in Kenya. PadMad is a voluntary organisation in Kenya that manufacture and distribute reusable sanitary towels as well as educating young girls and boys in menstrual hygiene management in schools within parts of Kenya.
We have also supported Olives Rehabilitation Centre in Kenya. Olives is a school funded entirely by voluntary donations based in a very underdeveloped shanty town about 5 km from Mombasa City Centre.

Clean Water - for Rural Communities in Kenya
In partnership with Osligi Bubbles and Stars have
to date supported the repair of numerous water pumps in 4 villages which have previously been too expensive to fix.
A total of approximately 5,000 people in these rural villages now have access to clean water.
Vocational Training - Kenya
Tailoring Training Programme
Bubbles and Stars has funded a tailoring project for parents of children affected by disability who have been unable to find jobs due to the time they need to spend time looking after their children who need extra care.
The tailoring programme has given these parents a vital skill enabling them to earn a living by making and then being able to sell garments through community markets.
