What is the Tunasoma Project?
An education programme for impoverished children living within the Mugure Slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Bubbles and Stars funding has helped Tunasoma to build and equip a centre where students can gain access to e-learning by using the internet facilities that have been set up and by using the centre's computer equipment.
Sustainability
Tunasoma is a long term project which we hope in time will be able to sustain itself and continue to provide facilities for students who don't have access to e-learning at home. By selling WiFi to households in the area on a subscription basis for a small fee enough funds will be raised to keep the centre running long term
