TheraPaws - Mayhew Animal Rescue Centre
TheraPaws is an animal assisted intervention programme designed to promote physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
Mayhew already have a group of trained volunteers who take their therapy dogs into residential care homes, hospices and day centres across London.
Our Involvement with TheraPaws
Our funds are being used to further this incredible initiative by training more volunteers to take their therapy dogs into mental health centres specifically for adolescents and children. Where visits to centres are not possible these children and adolescent have been able to interact virtually with these therapy dogs.
